So many things I want to say; so many people I want to thank. But for now, all I can say is: Dad, this win was for you. I attacked early on, and rode in a 2 person break for most of the race. With 1 to go, we were caught by a 7 person break. I kept a cool head, but staying away had taken everything I had and then some. When we went into the base of the finishing climb, I was off the back but charging. I got tangled with another rider with 100m to go, but fought with everything I had to keep moving forward. I just kept saying "for Dad. For Dad." When I crossed the line, I couldn't help it– I cried. Racing without him these past 4 years has been hard, but the motivation of racing in the memory, knowing he's watching, drives me. Thank you all for the love & support. Happy Father's Day to my #hecklerinheaven 🙏🏻💞 #nsgp #lovealways
